Weblogs....Blogs!

What is a "Blog"? A blog is similar to a journal, with each entry having a date, a short text about a specific topic (your life that day) and is frequently updated. Except in this case, the journal is on-line (on a web site) and is not limited to talking about your life. You can think of it as a way to easily publish information on a website without having to deal with HTML.

Discussion Forums / Bulletin Boards

A Discussion forum is a software that allows people to exchange (i.e. post text entries and replies) on various topics. It is a great tool for virtual community building.

With most software, you can customize the look and feel of your forum by downloading templates (or designing your own).
